On the morning of July 29th, the 10th "Little Scientist" summer camp of Tongwei Hope Primary School was held in Pingshan and Taicang parks respectively. Leaders such as Wang Dawei, Long Xiaojing, Wang Hui, Chen Kai, Yi Wanchun, Luo Fei, Wang Liangjie, Liu Jing, Wang Yong, Jiang Yu, the secretary of the Party branch, the director of the foundation, and members of the 2025 condolence and teaching support team gathered with 125 teachers and students from ten Tongwei Hope Primary Schools to embark on a week-long journey of scientific exploration.

This summer camp revolves around the theme of technology, focusing on humanoid robots to carry out a series of activities. Over the course of 7 days, it leads students to immerse themselves in the vast technological classroom, appreciate the charm of big cities, get to know humanoid robots, explore genetic engineering, visit university campuses, and feel the infinite charm of technology. Through experiencing, learning, communicating, operating, and showcasing achievements, it cultivates students' interest in learning, sows the seeds of science, and takes a small step towards the goal of rejuvenating the country through technology.
In the morning, the Shenzhen camp and the Taicang camp connected and exchanged greetings. After a warm-up mini-game, the summer camps in the two places held their opening ceremonies respectively, with 50 and 52 students participating from each location. David Wang, the founder and advisor of the company, and Long Xiaojing, the chairman of the foundation, delivered welcome speeches respectively.

Wang Dawei warmly welcomed the arrival of the children. He said, "Seven days fly by in the blink of an eye. I hope every camper cherishes every minute and second of the summer camp - whether it's scientific exploration, team life, or self-management, everyone can gain personal growth. The theme of this summer camp is still 'Little Scientists'. Under this big theme, this year we focus on humanoid robots, which are a comprehensive embodiment of today's cutting-edge technology. But science is not only a learning subject, it should also become a lifestyle. For example, from nutritious meals to regular routines, from correct sitting posture to efficient learning, everything should be practiced with scientific methods. Finally, Wang Dawei said, 'Since the introduction of Mr. Science by our predecessors a century ago, the spirit of science has been driving social progress. In this summer camp, I hope you will hold yourselves to the standards of 'Little Scientists', learn from each other in the team, and strive to be excellent role models. Over the past ten years, thousands of young people have embarked on their journeys from here to broader horizons. I hope you will sow the seeds of science here, harvest the power of growth, and make this experience a precious memory in your lives.'

Long Xiaojing pointed out, "Welcome, esteemed young scientists, to the coastal city of Shenzhen. This summer camp has carefully arranged a variety of engaging activities to bring you closer to the charm of technology - you will witness robot interactions, visit technology companies, and learn how cutting-edge technology integrates into daily life. I hope that during these seven days, you, who come from different places, will broaden your horizons, increase your knowledge, and learn teamwork, mutual assistance, and self-care skills. This is not just a journey of technology, but also a journey of growth and experience. May you embrace knowledge like you embrace the sea, plant the seeds of science in your hearts, and return to school with an exploratory spirit and the courage to pursue your dreams, sharing your experiences with more partners."

Zhang Ting and Wang Liangjie, the camp leaders of Shenzhen Camp and Taicang Camp respectively, introduced the itinerary of the week-long summer camp. The summer camp held a flag-presenting ceremony, followed by representatives of teachers and students from the Hope Primary School who expressed their great expectations and sincere gratitude for the summer camp. Tao Ruina and Zhou Qimeng, the class advisors from both locations, led all the students to swear an oath, expressing their determination to actively learn, grow, and become talented individuals during the summer camp, while respecting and loving each other.

After the opening ceremony, the children put on their anti-static clothing and separately arrived at the Pingshan and Taicang workshops. Under the guidance of the staff, they observed the production process up close, learned about advanced manufacturing techniques, and had a firsthand experience of the image of a modern factory.

In the afternoon, the Shenzhen camp headed to the large indoor swimming pool in Huiyang, where they learned to swim under the supervision of Tongwei swimming volunteers, experiencing the joy of water sports. After dinner, the summer camp specially invited a science teacher to explain relevant knowledge and led the children to make a sound-controlled car. The Taicang camp visited the Loujiang New City Urban Planning Museum, where the children witnessed the development blueprint of the new city through multimedia displays. They then explored the mysteries of the universe at the Taicang Aerospace Museum and had a close encounter with the performances of intelligent robots at Zhixing Robot Company.
